The FIRST to bring crocs to you in the UK!

Latest News

Man sits on crocodile: Recently, a man in Australia was seriously injured when he sat on the back of a 5m crocodile. Hardly surprising, and another reason not to drink alcohol before climbing into a croc enclosure. Crocodiles hold their drink much better than we do. Come and see us if you want to see crocodiles up close and in complete safety. You can’t sit on them, though...

Little Alicia Sparkle has started to make her appearance at shows, so come along and see our very special Chinese alligator.

Shepperton Village Fair on the 12th, Lanesborough School, St Mary’s Summer Fayre, St Joseph’s School Fair, David Lloyd at Raynes Park, and Arundel Wetlands. Also, later this month, Colin hopes to get across and collect a beautiful dwarf caiman from Cologne. Exciting!

May: A bit of fun this month, building a new enclosure for some new crocs we will be getting soon-ish. These will be dwarf caimans, and they are adult sized - so won’t be used for shows. Two of these are ones we had about 10 years ago, and they have been breeding regularly for the past few years in Denmark.

Public shows this month include David Lloyd centres, several schools and nurseries, and of course, the Cowpie Show in Surrey, which again saw a huge crowd for our shows in the arena. It is always a busy day for us, and the visitors all love to see the reptiles - particularly the boas and the crocs!

Special thanks this month to Jo at Earlswood school - we have been there for the past few years, and the shows are always enjoyable for us and the children!

April: We were back to the Natural History Museum on the 18th for the Dino Snores. Also, David Lloyd at Kidbrooke and a few vacation care centres and schools. Hope to see some of you at one of our upcoming school shows!

March: This month, we visited many schools, nurseries, as well as some of the David Lloyd centres. We are also settling in our latest crocs: some smooth-fronted caimans, and a Chinese alligator. Cute little things!

John Thorbjarnarson:

We are mourning the loss of Dr John Thorbjarnarson. Dr John T was the greatest croc expert the world has known, and died in February from malaria. It is still a shock to us all. Our prayers are with his family, and with the many close friends he has within the crocodile world. JT was our hero.

14 Feb:  Dino-snores was fun! We were at the Natural History Museum in London, to share the wonders of our reptiles with 200 children who had slept over at the Museum.

This is Alicia Sparkle. She’s our young Chinese alligator, and will be joining us for some shows later in the year - when she gets used to us. She is very strong and healthy, and absolutely beautiful!
